Creating a ux toolkit for federal employees
OVERVIEW:
The DigitalGov User Experience Program at GSA teaches federal employees how to make their products and services more user-friendly. I designed an educational resource that will be distributed at Usability workshops. This User Experience Wheel reflects the User-Centered Design process and rotates in the hands of users for interactive learning.
PROCESS:
Competitive Analysis
Information Architecture
Prototype (Low fidelity sketch, High fidelity mockup)
Tools:
Adobe Illustrator, Paper and Sharpies
RESEARCH
Reviewed existing educational resources portraying the User-Centered Design process in phases.
Information architecture
Drafted and organized the content based on research by phase, description and method.
PROTOtypes
Based on the feedback from potential users, I produced multiple iterations of the paper prototypes. I then mocked up a high fiedlity prototype in Adobe Illustrator.
